At this Family Support Night, Brittany Fowler from Family Hope House will be training us on the Six Stuck Spots in Adoption. “As adoptees mature into adulthood, issues related to the “six stuck spots in adoption” may make life especially challenging for them and their families. This month parents will become aware of these topics, how these may play out in their teen’s behavior, and how to talk to their children about these topics. While this focuses on adoption, these stuck spots are very true for foster and guardianship situations as well.” Dinner and childcare will be provided.
