Leslie Keenan from Family Hope House will be presenting information on Reunification and Sibling Separation. “Successful, healthy reunification is the goal of foster care. However, it is never simple and rarely easy! This month we will discuss how the reunification process impacts the child and the foster family. Additionally, we will discuss the challenges of sibling separation and how that impacts the child in care as well as the caregiving family. Strategies to assist in making these situations more successful and more manageable will be openly discussed among the group. Dinner and childcare will be provided. Families must register to attend.
