September is FASD Awareness Month! FASD stands for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder which is a lifelong disability that affects the brain and body of people who were exposed to alcohol in the womb. The impact of pre-natal alcohol exposure is a serious concern relevant in foster care and adoptive populations. Please join us at BattleCreek Church in Broken Arrow as Leslie Keenan, Executive Director of Family Hope House, helps us gain a better understanding of FASD and equips us with tools for success when raising children with these brain differences. Dinner, childcare, and training certificates will be provided. Please REGISTER HERE to reserve your spot.
