Transracial families are confronted with a unique set of issues and concerns that require careful thought, preparation, and ongoing training. This month, Leslie Keenan, Family Hope House Executive Director, will discuss what makes transracial adoptive families unique. We will talk about why it is important to talk about race with our families, how to talk about race, and how to increase bi-culturalism in our homes! Training certificates will be provided to those that attend the entire training.
